  This cabin is absolutely perfect! I love how spacious it is! It’s fully stocked and very clean! The host Eric is so friendly and kind! It was the best birthday stay ever!!!

• Family vacation

  The cabin needs a deep cleaning. The master bath had 2 broken drawers and the screen was off the sliding doors. The downstairs game room had an odor and the chairs are dirty and the floor needs to be mopped. There were ants in the kitchen and downstairs. Dead crickets were found in the downstairs bedrooms and the carpet throughout the house needs to be cleaned or replaced. The outdoor area and yard needs to be cleaned also. The pictures show it to be manicured. The grease pan in the grill was full and needed to be emptied. The sequoia room light flickers and needs to be checked. The locks on the screen door were hard to lock and unlock. The cleaning service needs to do a better job. It was not worth the price we paid.Thank you

  Stanley, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  -We encourage guests to reach out to us while they are in residence with any issues so that we can address any concerns quickly for a most comfortable stay
  -The game room recently suffered some minor flooding during an unexpectedly heavy storm. We've replaced the rugs with an all-weather equivalent and have had additional cleaning
  -The master vanity and majority of the carpet within our home were replaced shortly after your stay
  -As the home is located in a forest, ants can be prevalent in the area and occasionally enter if doors are left open or food is left out. We have ongoing pest control that manages and protects the home from these issues
  -We're making improvements to the sliding door to help the deadbolt lock easier
  -Since we are in a forested area, we are currently working on a required fire management project between traveler's visits to ensure your safety - this does require cutting a portion of the surrounding greenery, and we apologize if it affected your enjoyment of the area
  -We will be keeping a closer watch over cleaning and maintenance in the future
  We appreciate your feedback so we can continue to improve and help this homeowner provide guests with the 5-star service they are known for. We hope to host you again soon!

• Home away from home

  Our family of 11 had an amazing stay. We can’t stop talking about our relaxing trip. The cabin is beautiful with all of the amenities we needed. The cabin was spacious and fun. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and the game room. Our host was wonderful and very attentive. We appreciated how quickly he responding to our questions. We look forward to staying again.
