  Overall I loved the stay here, most comfortable beds I've ever slept on and neighborhood is super quiet. BUT we had to pre wash all the dishes before use due to them being dirty and greasy. Also it was hard to make a big meal because of limited pots and pans. I would recommend bringing your own pots/pans and paper plates/ cups.

• Green cabin getaway

  We all had a wonderful time. Very clean and had most amenities. However, could not lock any of the doors inside, and the front door only when we left, from outside. If we would have known there were no outside chairs or tables we would have brought some of our own. Despite that, we had a wonderful time and would recommend it. Just please state that there is no outside seating. Like us, I'm sure others come to Ruidoso to enjoy the outdoors and maybe enjoy a cup of coffee sitting on the porch. Thank you.

• On line photos misleading

  The photos of property is very misleading on line. The house is clean but The yard is a trashy, no patio furniture, no gas grill (there is a no burn ordinance) no extra toilet paper, back door knob fell off when we opened door. The water in toilet ran all night non stop. It was not a cozy place to stay.

• Description a little deceiving

  Property was beautiful. Everything was clean and modern. Upon arrival the door code would not open the lock because of how tight the door fits in it's frame. I looked around and found a key hidden for us. So, not how expected but all good. When opening the door everything was beautiful and clean but there was a strong rank smell that made me feel like this was a smokers cabin. We got use to it so no big deal. There are no views from the cabin. You have to get outside to be able to view any wilderness. The back deck says it's furnished but there was 1 hard wooden table chair. No furnishings on the front deck so we could not lounge outside with the views. They also advertise internet at this location which there is not. This was a deal breaker for me. I would never rent a property that has no access to WiFi or wired internet. So I called the local contact for evolve and she said she would call the owner and call me back. I never heard back from her over our 4 night stay. Every year we come to ruidoso and my family ski while I stay home and play my Xbox online, since I am disabled now. With no internet I was stuck at this cabin with nothing to do except watch tv. At least they had hbo, showtime, starz, etc. I would have never rented this place had I known they didn't have internet and no views from inside the cabin, and a unfurnished deck. So don't go by the description when renting this over priced location.
