• A marvelous long weekend!!

  We could not find a better place to enjoy a long weekend with the family. A very spacious and pretty cabin, bathrooms and bedrooms with everything you need, excellent cleanliness, with everything you need to cook inside and outside, the view from the back deck spectacular!! But the cherry on the cake was the excellent attention we received from the owner! Thank you very much Rob, we really enjoyed the place!

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: We have high standards for our property to ensure that guests have a positive guest experience. We sincerely apologize if you felt the house rules were a little too strict for your stay. As the home is a vacation rental, there are house rules that all guests are expected to follow. These rules are clearly stated on the listing that guests can verify prior to confirming a reservation. The home is a part of the Lincoln County and the bylaws along with Evolve, prohibit loud parties. In the event that the noise is too loud, this greatly affects the neighbors. While we want our guests to enjoy their stay here, we also need them to respect our house rules and treat the property as their own. It is also clearly stated and advertised on the listing that the Manager lives on-site and we're sorry if this information caught you off-guard. Thank you for sharing about your stay! We do all we can to make the best possible stay and look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

• Location is great but property needs tlc

  The location of the house is amazing. The deck is very nice and view from the deck is breathtaking. The property manager Rob is great. He is very responsive and very helpful. There is plenty of room in the house for a big family or multiple families. The property though is in disrepair. The front door sticks and impossible to lock. The deck doors are very difficult to lock. There are several windows in the living room that do not close properly. The master bedroom blinds are broken and the pellet stove in the master bedroom is also broken. The curtains and blinds in the other bedrooms are also in need of repair. The tub in the shared bathroom on the main level does not drain properly and the shower turners are broken. The tv is clunky and very difficult to change channelsThe dishwasher did not work. There was no sponge to wash dishes with and only one roll of paper towels. The sheets on all the beds were very staticky, probably because they had been dried without dryer sheets. I did my laundry and did not find any dryer sheets in the laundry room.

  Hi Humaira, we’re sorry your stay fell short of expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  -The safety of our guests will always be our highest priority. The house is in constant repair because we are in day rental. The front door is large, and during the winter and the rainy season it does swell, causing the door to drag a little bit. When the door is completely dry, there is no issue.
  -As for all the living room, the windows do close properly. We are looking to replace the master bedroom blinds and will be replacing all the older curtains with pull-down roll curtains for guests to have easy access to use.
  -Regarding the tub and dishwasher, we have thoroughly checked them and found no issues with draining.
  -We have confirmed there is a well-stocked supply of kitchen essentials for guests to use.
  -The TV is new and requires two remotes to work properly. If you had any questions regarding the instructions, we wish you would have let us know so that we can address any concerns quickly.
  -We are looking carefully into each item in your review so we can ensure our high standards are being met and exceeded. Thank you for your comments, as they will help us resolve any issues for our next guests.
