We stayed Sept 11-16, 2022 and enjoyed rain the first couple of days. The cabin was clean with everything we needed to prepare meals except the food which we brought with us. It was nice to relax and stay in and enjoy the rain and rest from our trip. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and saw elk, deer, an owl, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, chipmunks, squirrels, bluejays, and some kind of pretty yellow bird we had never seen before. We sat out one evening with hot chocolate and were amazed at the number of stars and how beautiful the Milky Way was! It was amazing! We enjoyed building a fire and sitting by it in the mornings when it was extra chilly. Nicole provided so many nice amenities in her mountain cabin. We loved the cabin and the area, but the stairs to the deck and the stairs in the garage into the cabin were difficult for us and might make this cabin not the best for people with mobility issues. Other than that, the cabin had everything we wanted in a vacation cabin and we had a wonderful time. Thank you, Nicole, for sharing your mountain home with us!
