Great for 7 people. Sofa beds not comfortable. Kids had to sleep on couch. But pillows and beds were VERY comfortable. Kitchen missing a few much needed items, baking sheet, measuring cups, needs a larger cutting board, better knives (like to chop food), stairs need to be better maintained in winter conditions like providing salt to salt the stairs. These are just suggestions. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back!!!

We loved our time at this location! There were all kinds of pots and pans for any need, there were cleaning supplies, and beds and couches were comfortable. We went at the beginning of August and weather was cool. Warmish rooms cooled down nicely with ceiling fans and open windows (no a/c available). An extra fan was provided and needed for the loft. It is not recommended to use the fireplace per note on fridge, so visions of a comfy fire on a rainy night might need to be checked. Bring laundry detergent if running loads and shower supplies, fridge is empty, but there are spices and coffee filters available. Coffee pot worked great, not slow. Plenty of towels and blankets provided. Internet went out half way through trip and didn't return. Bring HDMI cable and watch through computer/phone. A few large black ants were spotted and easy to get rid of. Definitely not infested with ants. The driveway is a bit precarious, especially if wet. We would all get out of our fairly low riding Honda mini van to go up or down the driveway. Not a big deal, just take it slow. Saw elk and dear every night. Was peaceful, quiet, serene. Would come back again in a heart beat!

This 2 bedroom, loft and 2.5 bath is a nice getaway from the busy city life. Located in the quiet village of a Cloudcroft it has the amenities needed to make your stay enjoyable. For the most part the temps allowed for open windows to enjoy the mild weather. The property does have a huge window in the living room/dining area that made the home warm during the day, especially the upstairs bedroom and loft. It does have A/C but it didn’t work well. But after opening windows the house cooled off. If the sliding doors had a screen door that would have been ideal. We did see some black ants here and there in the bathrooms and bedrooms throughout our stay. But overall the place was great!

Mostly great. The only thing I would suggest is get a slightly higher car than a Chrysler 300. The bumper scraped a little on both ends going up and down the driveway. The upstairs TV was missing the cable into the TV from the cable box. A little dry creamer would be a nice touch also.

This property has stunning views of the licoln national forest. They had everything you need for a mountain get away. Our only concern was the steep driveway. We have a Ford Expedition and we skidded down the driveway every single time we backed out. Overall, it is a great place and easily a perfect, relaxing mountain retreat.
