    The house seemed great on the surface, but once trying to live in it became challenging. Upon arrival we found the heat did not work and it was a cold weekend. We notified the guest contact and it was repaired the following day. There were two space heaters but they tripped the breaker. There’s also a security alarm that we were not provided the security code for. It would constantly chirp which was annoying. The main toilet had issues with the bowl filling to the rim when flushed. These items were also brought to the contacts attention which were ignored. Kitchen cabinets do not have any knobs or handles which made them challenging to open. Minimal utensils provided. Silverware and knife block only. No other utensils you might need to cook a meal. Refrigerator never got very cold so dairy grocery items had to be thrown out that weren’t eaten while there. The freezer did work great tho.

    Hi Cecelia, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
    -We apologize for the troubles you experienced while in residence. The heating unit broke down however, we will be replacing that right away. We are glad that we were able to provide emergency heat in the meantime.
    -We have a plumber repairing the toilet to ensure future guests do not experience this.
    -We inspected the refrigerator after your stay and were not able to replicate the malfunctions reported. We can assure the refrigerator is in good condition. The chirping sound can occur when the refrigerator door is not closed completely.
