Very dissatisfied
2/5 We were greeted with dead roaches that we had to clean up. The power went out the day before so it was our job to reset the thermostat. Then Wi-Fi was not available to us because the outside cable box was on the ground. We were also expected to troubleshoot that. But it was never fixed. I was hoping for a quiet weekend break and I was not happy at all! The beds were comfortable .

Angela, we want to make vacation rental easy for everyone, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your stay. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
"Angela, we're very sorry that your experience did not live up to your expectations, but we'd like to provide some context on your review.
-We take the cleanliness of our property seriously and have a regular pest control company that services the space. We truly regret if you encountered any critters. Our cleaners take special care in checking the home before guests arrive and did not find any bugs upon their inspection.
-Regarding the power, we were never advised of the cable box getting damaged. Upon investigation, we were told that on the day of your arrival, a truck was driving through our street and knocked over the power line, and dragged the cable box from our house. We were more than happy to assist in troubleshooting these issues but were not alerted of this issue until the evening before checkout.
-We sincerely apologize that the internet problems disrupted your stay. Upon finding out, we tried to help with the troubleshooting. We hope you used the $50 gift card to Fandango to try to make your stay more comfortable.
We strive to provide excellent stays for our guests and we truly regret this was not the case for you. Hopefully, we have another opportunity to meet your expectations in the future."
