Great house right on the river. Great deck and patio to cook and eat on. Glenn is a great host. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The host is pleasant and responds to questions quickly.
This location is about 20 minutes from downtown Asheville and is the perfect distance away from it too.
The creek is as beautiful as the rest of the view from the back porch.
Without the controllable flood lights, you will be in (and feel) total darkness after sunset.
The property is well-equipped for most needs, including both standard and k-cup coffee makers.
This cozy home is well-suited for a family of 3 or a young family of 4. Our family of 5 (kids are 16,13,&11) was cramped, and often frustrated with the single restroom.
The shared living spaces can get very warm, but the heat doesn’t make it past closed bedroom doors (you’ll need to use the provided space heaters).
The neighbors are a lot closer than they seem from the pictures, but I imagine the summer foliage helps tremendously.
The restroom, televisions, and kitchen are in need of upgrades, but they get the job done and you should be spending more time outside anyway. The host seems to be in-process of upgrading, as the fireplace is newer and gorgeous.
If my wife and I were to go back without our children, we’d stay here again.
This is a beautiful place. You can feel yourself relaxing the minute you go to on the porch and listen to the creek. Nature at its very best....dressed for the season. House was warm and cozy and we never even thought about watching the tv....no need with the scenery around us. The only thing that put me off a bit was the ride on the gravel road. quite a twisty event and a little disconcerting.....but well worth the adventure. Hope to return soon.......

Can't say enough about how nice this was. Everything I was hoping for from the writeup, even with a couple of hick-ups. House sits right up to the creek, close enough to hear it even with everything closed up if you tried and everything else was off. Sitting on the creekfront porch it enveloped you. Very private.
Could see the rental next door but never heard them. Best stocked kitchen for a rental I've been in. Coffee, spices, pots, pans, etc. Had to hunt a couple times but found more than I'd expect. It's not brand new and/or huge but well done and spaces listed are what you'd expect. I liked the bed, wife found it a little hard. Had a little trouble figuring out which remote was for the gas logs and then they were acting up a little but I'm sure the gas company will work that out, they were apparently fairly new. The road in is definitely a challenge in it's steepness, our low clearance, AWD, convertible did fine, but it's not for the faint of heart or poor of traction, especially not in worse weather than we had. Probably the first rental I've been in that I'll actually look into re-booking.
The property is just as described, except better! The sound of the river behind the house, along with the concrete patio area are absolutely wonderful. Three bedrooms worked perfectly for three independent women. The kitchen is very well stocked, even with some spices! The location is a little hard to find initially (which is why a 4 instead of a 5), but once you find it, you are glad you persevered. It is close enough to so many things to do that you find yourself having to decide which one to pursue. The games, especially monopoly, were enjoyed too.Having morning coffee on the front porch was devine. Glenn, who manages the property was easy to contact, and even checked on us a time or two. I would recommend this house for anyone looking for a place to relax, with a flowing stream view.
