5/5 This home was clean, comfortable and the host was friendly! The home had everything we needed from towels, to blankets and kitchen utensils! The farm fresh eggs were amazing our whole stay! Even the pups were happy with a fenced in yard and could run and play! We loved our stay!

House and Host Disappointment
1/5 Drove 6 hours to a house with a fenced in backyard for our senior dog, which I had to pay extra, only to find live chickens living in the yard. I called the host Donna Owen, voiced my concern and she hung up on me. I called back and left a message to call me back and she never did. Our dog would not even use the yard because of the chicken poop. Also when the heat was on a strong smell of fuel oil would circulate. Kitchen is inundated with fruit flies. The big concern is no smoke alarms or co2 alarms in the house. Which I would imagine is a required with a fire place and rental property.

- We put a lot of love and care into our home, so we were saddened by the review you left, especially since it's not only beautifully decorated, but in close proximity to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park
- We have our chickens so that guests like yourself can receive fresh eggs, which our guests love
- We immediately had our listing updated that the chickens are in a separate area of our backyard. Previous reviews stated that chickens were there, so we wish you had seen this information prior to booking because we certainly didn't want this to affect your stay with us
- We have smoke detectors and a CO detector in the home, as this is a requirement for the safety of our guests
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.Residential property that is close to downtown and Walmart
5/5 We enjoyed our stay very much! The owners were very nice and accommodating when needed. The fenced in back yard was a big plus for our furry one. We only used the bedroom with the tv, the bed was so comfortable. The bath, kitchen were very clean, which is a big plus!!! Highly recommend!Pam
