Clean, Cozy Cabin!
5/5 Perfect little cabin to stay at with our family of 3, but plenty of space to bring friends in the future as well.
We’re very picky with the cleanliness of Airbnb’s & we were very pleased at how clean/tidy the cabin was. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms & extra blankets if needed. Having access to a washer/dryer and dishwasher was nice as well. The kitchen had just enough plates/silverware/cookware for our short stay. Having a smart tv in the living room to binge our shows at night was a plus!
Being able to sit in the rocking chairs on the porch and listen to the sounds of the creek was so peaceful. The exact type of relaxation I’m looking for when I want a trip to the mountains.
We actually didn’t even see neighbors out and about. It was very quiet!
It was about 15 minutes to downtown waynesville and 15 minutes to Maggie Valley/Lake Junaluska. We were able to explore both areas within a day and walk the few miles around the lake for a beautiful scenic view!
It was nice to be able to explore the downtown areas, but since it was a 15 minute drive, you really do feel like you’re cozied up in the mountains!
We will be back and highly recommend!

5/5 My wife and I brought our children here to bring in the new year. Plenty of room and only a 30 minute drive through Mountain View’s to Cherokee and Asheville. Absolutely will be back.

Nice mixture of seclusion and convenience
4/5 This is a cute cabin with modern decor in a great location. It's far enough away from the city to feel like you're in the mountains but close enough to Waynesville to be very convenient. (12-15 minutes) We had no issues with disruptive neighbors. It was very quiet and peaceful. Do not expect a 5-star hotel with all the modern comforts--this is a rustic cabin with individual mini-splits for A/C in each room and some insects and dampness like you would expect staying in the woods. (It also rained quite a lot before we came, so that certainly played a factor I'm sure.) But these were minor inconveniences. Our children loved the cabin, and we wouldn't hesitate to come back, especially for the price.
