The creek was so relaxing to sit and listen to. We loved the location, close to everything and quite. Chairs needed better cushions outside.
The reservation people went above and beyond to get us an ironing board and iron. Needed for graduation gown.
Down side.... out dated and old kitchen pots pans. List of things available in house was outdated and not kept up. Open old chips left in cabinet, waiting to attract bugs. Watch to make sure they fix the door from master to deck. Doorknob worked from inside, but didn't from outside. We got locked out. Raining we had to go around back and go in front door.
Remember to bring toilet paper and paper towels. As you just get starter ones. 4 women go through toilet paper. 😆
Basic kitchen spices are available, that helps. AC worked great.
House is musty, but I'm thinking it stays damp because of how close it is to the creek. Plus it's a rock house, probably holds moisture. A dehumidifier running would help. 4 days of us coming and going and it still was musty.
I would stay again. Loved the area, and the creek. Bathrooms and beds wear clean. Floors clean also. Towels fresh and plentiful. We used washer and it worked great!
Kitchen pots pans and plates need updated. Even new used from a yard sale would be a big improvement.
I Do recommend for piece and quite.
Everything was wonderful, after i found out how to turn the heat on.

When we arrived at this little cottage, we were exhausted....when we left, we were fully refreshed! The river was a perfect setting for some tired ministers. There were some fresh cut roses out on the deck and they were the perfect touch to my morning coffee routine. The beds were comfortable. Everything we could possibly need was in walking distance and the food at Maggie's Galley was great!
Justin was super and took care of the cable box issue right away.

The view of the river and location is amazing for this rental. But there is major safety issues concerning the house, broken exposed outlets, leaking windows, leak under the sink, tvs that don’t work, dirty dish towels in the kitchen, hairs in the master bed sheets. And the issue is all of the damage to the house and safety issues were all known about and not properly fixed but keeps getting rented out. Very unhappy with our stay.

Owner's response: "Kayla, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you.
- Thank you for mentioning the view and location. We are on a large creek and enjoy sharing what we are fortunate enough to have. We pride ourselves on offering all our guests a safe place to stay. We keep up on maintenance not only for the home but to ensure all our guest's safety as well
- We're glad you contacted us but we didn't hear from you until Saturday afternoon, we immediately apologize and hoped that refunding your cleaning fee would have helped. We sent maintenance to take care of things because we didn't want any further issues or damages. They made sure everything was fixed that day
- We take cleanliness seriously and ensure that the home is properly cleaned and inspected before each guest's arrival
- We check all TVs to be sure they are all in good working condition regularly. We were perplexed as to why the power cord was missing and the TV not working at all. This TV was replaced the next day, however, there were 3 working TVs in the home
- As for the leaking window, we were unaware of it and he caulked it to be sure it was no longer leaking
We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."
Great place! enjoyed it!
