The perfect mountain getaway
5/5 From start to finish we have been thrilled with our weekend getaway at Sugar Top Mountain. To celebrate or 20th wedding anniversary, my husband and I decided to take a ski trip with our teen kids to Banner Elk. We were not familiar with the area so we weren't exactly sure what to expect. But our stay here in the condo turned out perfect. The host provided all the we needed so we were comfortable and had everything available. We were located on the first floor and close to the elevators. There was fresh coffee and supplies provided, plenty of towels, snacks for the kids, plenty of pillows, blankets, you name it. The rooms were clean and spacious. All of our rooms overlooked the slopes and was beautiful to watch the sun come up over the mountain. The condo amenities were well kept and clean. They included a heated pool, sauna, steam room, weight room, clean elevators, and a lobby with fireplace. Parking was easy and convenient. And we were only 5 to 10 minutes from everything. We went snow tubing at Hawks Nest since we were first timers and toured the Linville Caverns. Dinner at Nguyens and the Peddling Pig did not disappoint. We will be making this a yearly trip and choosing this exact condo every time. It was perfect.
