  There is a reason this is priced so much less. No cable only DVD player so bring DVDs. Only four towels at property, no seating in living room. The furniture they have is no comfortable. I have addressed all other issues with the owners but just know you get what you pay for. The creek was the best part about the house. Very relaxing

  - We are sorry about any miscommunication about the cable. We do provide a number of DVDs for guests.
  - We wish you would have reached out to us about the towels, we have spares on shelving behind the bathroom door and we would have been happy to provide more if needed.
  - We use professional photography for the home, so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised, including the seating. We will look at the current furniture to see if we can make any improvements.

  The only positive about this place was the creek. There is a reason this place is cheaper than anywhere else.

  Ad said 28 miles from gatlinburg. It was almost 2 hrs away. The refrigerator was dirty & rusty. The washer & dryer were outside & looked like they were from 1978. Rusty & dirty as well. The one bedroom, the door barely opened. Only our 11 yr old could get in it. Another bedroom had a broken window. Space heaters in every room because apparently the heat didn't work. The toilet was wobbly. The dishwasher was dirty. The patio doors to the deck didn't seal. And after driving 2 hours back from gatlinburg we found the ceiling in the living room leaks. There was a ratty tarp on the back of the house on the roof so they obviously knew it had leaks. We left after one night & had rented it for 3.

  Hi James, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner, who would like to share this feedback:
  - I'm not sure where you saw 28 miles to Gatlinburg, as that is not advertised on the listing. There are many other attractions nearby.
  - I apologize for the maintenance concerns. We have just repaired the window and replaced the dryer.
  - There is a small amount of rust on the refrigerator, but it works well and is cleaned in between each guest.
  - The cabin does not have central heat, but there is a gas LP heater in the living room and electric heaters in each bedroom.
  - The roof is being replaced, so the tarp is there to ensure there are no leaks until it is complete.
  I'm sorry that you weren't thrilled with the property. I will continue to work hard to provide a relaxing stay for all guests.

• Creek side was mentally clearing!!!

  The outside of property is worth it's weight in gold!!!! The inside could use bug extermination; mouse trapping ..... now granted this is an older home that shows but the convenience and creekside sounds with fire pit were amazing ..... the inside just needs de-bugging.

• Excellent vacation

  Beautiful location we really enjoyed the peace and quite with a beautiful creek in the back yard and huge deck to sit and relax and listen to the flowing water of the creek
