Apparently I was their first guest. They listed it before fully ready. Either they/property management team just don't care about some basic details. But the "host" was communicative. At the end of the day, I had a bed and a place.The area -It is a nice enough place; it is very walkable to downtown, about a mile; it is in a transitioning area, but safe. It is on a rather busy 3-lane road, so you'll hear car noise.Overall:There was no drinkware. His son brought 2 coffee mugs and a big bag of red S Cups.There was no coffee maker. His son brought a K'rig, which I had to set up - in the morning I wasn't in the mood to spend my time doing that.The kitchen has basic cookware, but no serving bowls if you want to prep/have a meal w/people. Easy fix.Utensils still in box.No trash bags for the trash. Easy fix.Bedroom - I sat on it and was on box springs. They didn't pay attention to put mattress on the right way. I had to strip/flip...Sheets were obviously only out of the complete bed in a bag kind of situation bag set... The firm crisp folding lines were still there, as was the packing smell. And they were ROUGH. I am low maintenance, but they were so uncomfortable that I woke up several times a night. They could have just washed the sheets first; or bought a slightly better set.The W/D is in the bedroom - odd, but whatever.Bathroom - It is in the main bedroom; if you have another couple, etc, in the second room/office, they will have to come into your bedroom to use the bath/shower.The shower head was literally not screwed on. When I went to shower, and touched the head to move the water flow, it all fell off with the shower caddy. Still old soap gunk in soap tray.Security system -Does light up and say you are being filmed if you walk around the house.The reservation/comms -Done through a 3rd party; so where you normally get info/comms through the app, they don't do it here; I got a random text of "your checkin code is..." without naming who it was or what for. I thought it was a scam, He said it was for "your Air..." but I was doing this through V.....When I tried to "contact host" through the "contact host" link on my VRBO reservation, they said they could not help me, and that I had to contact the host. But I didn't know who that was or how... You get an email from VRBO AND the prop mgt co both and it just gets too confusing.I didn't really like all the comms being offline that way. But he was responsive. Hope they make ea
