• Great relaxing week.

  House is comfortable and nicely furnished. Bed was comfortable with good linens. Appliances I. The kitchen are in good working condition. The gem of this place is the screened back porch and fenced in yard. We bird and squirrel watched and our 2 dogs enjoyed the freedom. The only downside is the busy road out front. But that can’t be helped. We would stay again when visiting I. The area.

• Perfect week.

  Comfortable and thoughtfully furnished house. The house was very clean and well stocked upon our arrival. We found the beds to be comfortable, the shower to be hot and all appliances to be in good shape and in good working order. We appreciated the screened porch and fenced in yard. It was a great spot first thing in the morning and again in the evening to relax with coffee or a cool drink. The neighborhood is very quiet.

  It is right on East Oak Island Drive so the road noise can be bad. It’s an easy drive to restaurants and shopping and to the Beach.

  It’s obvious that this house has been loved and well maintained by the owners. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

• House not cleaned on arrival and needing more than a surface cleaning.

  The house was not cleaned on arrival. The owner became aware of this and sent out her cleaning people promptly.

  The cleaners did a surface cleaning and the owner refunded us one day’s rent to make up for the lost day as we had to wait for the cleaners to finish before we unpacked. This was fair but didn’t address the larger problem.

  This property needs more than a surface cleaning. Overall the house and yard are in need of a deep cleaning and outdoor cleanup.

  We have used VRBO multiple times and have never been so disappointed.

  I am sorry to have to give a negative review but the owner may need to find a better cleaning vendor.

  - We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of the home not being prepared upon your arrival. Unfortunately, our cleaning partner mixed up the days of your check-in. As soon as we were made aware of the issue, we sent the cleaning team to the property to address the problem. Additionally, our yard maintenance team services the exterior of the home on a regular basis. Hopefully the refund helped to make up for any frustrations this may have caused.
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

• Well appointed Beach Home

  We loved our week in this comfortable and beautifully decorated home. Great kitchen and awesome screened back porch for us and major fenced back yard for our dog added to our week here. Everything was clean and well stocked for us, easy checking and checkout. Note this house is on the Main Street, and it may be a challenge to get out of the driveway on busy weekends. Traffic noise is minimal as House is set back from road. As mentioned in listing, no cable, but Roku tv has plenty with Netflix for rainy days. Loved the beachy cool colors of all rooms and linens.

• Perfect location, scenic walk to beach, fenced in backyard

  Layout of house was perfect. Enjoyed sitting on back porch watching the bassets lounge and play in the fenced in backyard where they had plenty of room. Quiet and safe area. Scenic walk to the beach was ideal. The house was clean and equipped with everything you need. Gas grill was a plus. The owner communicated promptly with information of area including her contact. Due to a family emergency, I had to contact the owner. I could not have asked for a more gracious host. We will definitely be back and stay at this location again.
