The property was very clean and well stocked with kitchen needs. My wife and I cooked a few meals while we were there. The view is beautiful and the property is very secluded and off the beaten path. I recommend a vehicle with all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive especially in the winter based upon how steep the driveway is and it would be tough to navigate in the snow. A flashlight is provided by the cabin but recommend one of your own if you try to get down the stairs in the dark!! I would give 4.5 stars if that was a rating choice.

The location was beautiful, and the cabin cozy. Definitely recommend 4WD to access, as the driveway is decently steep gravel. Steve cut a hiking trail behind the cabin, unfortunately the recent storm blew most of the markers off the trees near the top of the mountain, so we couldn’t reach the top. It was fairly steep in some spots, so be warned if you’re not used to rugged terrain. Pet owners: please be aware of the ladder to the bedroom. You will have to either let your pet sleep downstairs or carry them up the ladder. There are also plenty of ticks in the area (it is the woods, after all), so make sure they’re up to date on tick protection. I probably pulled 10 off my dog over the course of two days. All in all, I’d rent this cabin again. Two nights was not nearly long enough!

The door code is a struggle to get into the house, the rest of the stay was a dream. Very quiet and secluded, the home is kept well and very clean. They have all kinds of amenities, a perfect stay.
