  Great place to book. Good location from Maggie Valley, Cherokee and Waynesville. Only complaint would be that a few lights didn’t work, one tv wasn’t a smart tv and the hot tub didn’t work properly and the water had an odor. Not a big deal but wanted to notify.

• Beautiful Home

  This rental was very tidy and well put together. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious dog run; our pup loved this space. The hosts were very friendly and attentive.

  Our stay was great. The house was very nice. Not far from the main road but it was a little rough for our lowered trucks. Great location to all adjacent cities/towns. Would come back again with my child.

  Needed better sitting furnature in the living room. We had 5 people and only 4 forks and four spoons. The layout was real nice.

  This cabin is very comfortable and the location is great, everything is as shown in the pictures. We had trouble with the fireplace, which we got working after some trial and error, and the Wifi is really terrible (we just used our cell phone hotspots). We had a pretty big issue at check in, apparently there was some miscommunication between the property manager and the cleaning service because when we arrived nothing had been cleaned from the last tenant (the sheets/towels/etc were still in piles on the floor, there was still dirt on all the rugs and toothpaste in the sinks). We contact the property manager and he sent the cleaning service out immediately (she arrived within 30 mins), upon arrival the cleaning person was pretty rude (I think she thought we were just being picky or something), but once she walked through the cabin her attitude changed, she appologized for the inconvenience and stated that she had not been notified that there was a tenant since the last time she cleaned the property. She said that she would get it cleaned asap, we told her that we would go grab dinner and come back in a few hours, she said that would be plenty of time. While we were annoyed at the situation, I understand that things happen and everyone was very apologetic. We were notified by the property manager just 2 hrs after we left for dinner that the property had been cleaned and was ready for us. We returned to the cabin about 20 mins later only to find that the cleaning service didn't wash the sheets, they just made the beds with the dirty sheets off the floor (there was hair in the sheets, and sheets on two of the beds had dirt or something on them, also the rugs and carpets still had dirt on them. I contacted the property manager again, sent photos, and told him that I would just clean the cabin myself because I didn't trust the cleaning service to do it at this point, mind you it was now nearly 8pm and we had driven 10 hrs to get there then immediately had to leave so the place could be cleaned. The property manager offered to credit us the cleaning fee, and I asked that they also credit us the nightly rate for that night since my kids ended up sleeping on the floor with the blankets they brought from home because I was now having to wash all the linens myself and do a good cleaning of the property. The property manager agreed, and we were later contacted by Evolve who processed the credit. Overall, our stay was good and the cabin was comfortable.
