  We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen/dining/living room worked very well for the 4 adults and 2 granchildren. Plenty of games to keep everyone occupied. The outside entrance to the basement game room was not an issue at all. Loved the fire table on the deck with the creek in the backround seemd like we were miles from anywhere, but very convienient to resturants shopping and Sightseeing. We saw a herd of Elk in the National Forest which was impressive. Maggie Valley is a great place and we will reccomend it to our friends. The place was very clean and everything was as expected.

• Great location to Cataloochee Ski Area

  The location is good. It is very convenient to ski with a 15 min drive. The community is peaceful. We met snow during the stay and the road was fine for an AWD car. The only thing is the cleanness of the bed. We found the bed liners smelled bad. It didn't smell fresh and seemed someone was using it and didn't wash it at all. I didn't sleep well on the first night. And we had to wash all the liners ourselves on the second day. Other places look clean. And the garage door is very hard to operate. So we didn't use the garage door on the second day. The communication of guest hosts is very bad. I texted the message to the number of guest host and never get back a response. I won't recommend this property if you take young kids with you. The liners were dirty and you had to do the laundry yourself. My kids even had skin allergies for the first night.

  -We were surprised to see your review as our cleaners provide us with excellent service, consistently. We use a cleaning service to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival, and our ground services team is meticulous in their cleaning and sterilization. We've never received any complaints, on the contrary, prior guests have mentioned how clean everything was in their past 5-star reviews
  -We want every guest to have a great experience, and if something's not as expected we'll do our best to remedy it. We have never had any issues with a bad odor in the home nor did the cleaning team report anything during their cleaning. While we try to accommodate all guests with clean features, we also are very thoughtful about not using harsh chemicals at and near our rental. Every year we use a healthier approach and we started using non-allergic alternatives to ensure our high standards are being met and exceeded
  -We are very sorry about your experience with the garage door opener. We were not notified by your group about any issues regarding the home and did not receive any communication about the garage concerns until after your stay. We also collaborated with our cleaning team and inspected the home and found no issues to resolve. We stand by their work and commitment to ensuring the property is guest-ready

• Beautiful cabin

  It was a great cabin! They were very accommodating with a couple of special requests. It was a very clean cabin and in a great location. I would recommend.

• Beautiful and Peaceful

  This was our groups second trip to Maggie Valley for the Tunder in the Smokies Motorcycle Rally, 8 people in all. We were surprised and thrilled with this property and would stay there again with no hesitation. The location was great, close to everything, but you wouldn't know it. The house was spacious and well appointed. The decks were amazing. The creek was by far the best feature. The sound of the running water was peaceful and refreshing. We were so glad we found this little gem and would recommend it to anyone.
