  Not sure where to begin, My Mom is a stage 4 metastatic breast cancer patient & had wanted to see the fall leaves very badly & My Dad loves seeing the elk.I had searched the internet for a place to stay and just couldn’t seem to find anything & on the last day that I started searching this home just popped up.Mama & Daddy absolutely loved the home & talked about how beautiful the view was from the porch.The homeowner Mrs. Pat is an absolute pleasure to work with and very quick to reply to calls or emails.I would recommend this home & would rent again.

  We ended up trailering our bikes down due to the weather forecast. Saw motorcycle friendly and figured we'd give it a go. The hill you climb to get to the gravel lane this house is on is fairly steep, my truck registered a 9* - 10* grade. The pictures make it look like it has a lot of parking, but it has a randomly placed stone planter in the middle of the gravel parking area which made it awkward to manuever around. The other parking gripe is the email i got stated that it could fit 2 cars in the driveway, which is true, and 3 cars in the gravel loop. Im not sure where this loop is but the gravel patch out front with the awkward planter barely fits a full size truck. I would advise anyone with a trailer against this property. As soon as we entered the property it had a faint scent of cigarette smoke inside the living room. Its an ok house with fair amenities, but a little outdated inside. The lack of access to the garage is a bummer as well. It also says "covered motorcycle parking", which would be true IF you brought a cover for your bike while it is parked in either the open driveway or the gravel patch. After a day on the bike its nice to relax in the hot tub, again picture makes it look bigger than it is. It is a 2 person tub, and the controls are stuck on 104*. The front door to the house is also not secure. The door frame feels like its going to break when opening and closing the door. This cabin does not offer a trash service because it says in the welcome book that the county does not provide it. The last several stays at homes in the same area i have never had to take my own trash either home with me or to a dump station, which is also something that would be difficult if you just had a motorcycle. In my honest opinion this property isnt worth the price i paid to book especially for a house that states motorcycle friendly, we have stayed in maggie several different times and paid less while getting a nicer more updated cabin.

  Everything was great and as expected. However, there was a small sugar ant infestation, and when we contacted the property manager about it, there was no response. I would recommend this property to others.

• Family Reunion a Success

  We scheduled a stay at this VRBO based on cost and guest accommodations. This home was well maintained and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Would recommend this to those looking for no surprises. The guest contact was very prompt with all our correspondences as well.
