Apple Valley Villa
5/5 The unit was very clean and comfy. Very prompt response from the host when we asked to stay an additional night. Very happy there was a smart TV and excellent WiFi. We will love to stay again. Also enjoyed the cookies the host left and the Keurig coffee maker.
October Getaway
5/5 The condo was clean and in a good location. It was very comfortable for two. However it was not within walking distance to the lake or beach. Having access to the resort amenities was a plus. The indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna were very nice.

Apple Valley condo the pros and cons
3/5 This was a great location and it allowed for use of the Lake Lure resort which included the pools, steam room, sauna, beach, mini golf, etc. As for the unit, it had its ups and downs. The bed was extremely comfortable with a great pillow top. I slept very well. The negatives were that the unit needed some repairs. The drain was a bit clogged; the unit had many ants in it, the blinds didn't open and close easily, the stick that turns the blinds was broken off. The decorating was cute, so with just a bit of TLC and repairs to it, it would once again be a great tiny condo for a short stay.
