    Home away from home! We are so happy with the tucked away neighborhood and sprawling lawn with the beautiful tree lined backyard. So convenient to Main Street. The home is so cozy and happy!

    We enjoyed our stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the property manager made the whole process a breeze. The kitchen was well supplied with everything to cook a meal. The house reminded us of our youth at our Grandparents house off of Flat Mountain Road. My only suggestion would be a larger hot water heater.

  • A Relaxing Stay

    This was a very nice location. We really enjoyed it. The property manager was speedy in replies to any questions. The only negative was related to air conditioning. The listing advertised the property as being air conditioned, but actually, there was a window unit in the living room and fans everywhere else. It turned out to be okay, but not what was indicated. All in all, the stay was enjoyable and I would return again.

  • Our Highlands Home Away from Home

    Our 2nd stay at The Sanctuary and we have already booked our 3rd for next year. We feel so at home with the cozy feeling, but spacious layout of the home. The grounds are so lovely and neighborhood is so enjoyable to walk. We made S’Mores in the fire pit and made puzzles at the kitchen table. It is so convenient to Main Street, which we love to stroll! The main road out of Rolling Acres is also very convenient to Cashiers, so centrally located. We adore Highlands and love that The Sanctuary has become our Home Away from Home.
