Though we try to come up to NC from FL for a week each fall, this year's visit felt especially needed to reconnect and regroup as a family after hurricane Ian. The cabin was truly charming, blissfully quiet, removed from chaos but not too far from civilization. The beds and linens were really comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, the sunroom was a gem, and the whole place felt snug and cozy despite two crisp 28⁰ mornings. My boys especially loved rock-hopping along the creek. My husband was able to remote work and the kids and I streamed our lessons on the TV (we homeschool) with complete ease thanks to sufficient available wifi. Cheers to Sarah, John and Phoebe and their beautiful haven!
