This opening photo is not TRUE...there are solid trees right in front of the porch covering the mountain views and down to creek. You can peek between and they are fabulous.... but you have a tree view all the way across from spring to fall...from them blocking or needing to be trimmed back. Winter time after the leaves fall would be a better view.
The Kitchen and living room, accessed by outside stairs to the second floor are NOT for the ELDERLY or DISABLED or anyone with bad knees. NO BUENO!...and It's just weird. The upstairs kitchen is AWESOME, but you have to lug all your groceries upstairs (outside stairs).
But if you're younger and love the exercise BUENO!
3 people in our group had bad knees! :(
The beds are SUPER COMFY, only one chair downstairs is comfy, one is missing a cushion and the vintage bench isn't for sitting. Couch upstairs is slick and you can use for a slip-in-slide, but comfy. One comfy recliner.
The firepit down by the creek (awesome) was ready to go, except it rained on us so much we didn't get to fire it up. It is a hike to get down to the creek, but you can HEAR it on the porch of the house. When we finally got to sit down there and enjoy the creek rushing by 2 sets of neighbors decided to do "Duelling lawnmowers" and have 4 mowers going on and on for hours. :( NO BUENO. It was a Tuesday, if that's their day to destroy your peace. lol!
We didn't use the Jacuzzi tub... which was cool.
Overall... we LOVED IT. It's a beautiful property and the house was clean and very nice.
The cabin was perfect and the property was absolutely beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay!

The cabin is beautiful and cozy. Enjoyed so much sitting on the 2nd story porch and listening to the sound of the stream. Amazing views and really enjoyed the stay. The jetted bathtub was the best, did not want to get out once I was in. Would def stay here again.
Seriously beautiful views from the porch! That is the closest to a mountain we have stayed, just walk out and there it is! The house was clean and had everything we needed. We loved that the grocery store is less than 15 minutes away. I would say this was our favorite cabin we have rented. Yes, the stairs outside aren’t ideal but all it does is separate the sleeping area from the living area so it really isn’t a major deal breaker. We will be back.

This property is a great place to escape from your normal life and enjoy some quality time with your loved ones. The large open field in the front allows for any type of family activity, be it a game of tag, football, soccer, or what evert. The beds were very soft, and the blankets heavy enough to ward off the crisp night October air. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, cups, plates, and silverware. There are only two odd things about the property that you need to be aware of. First, and this is spelled out for you in the property description, the only way to get to the kitchen on the second floor is through an outside staircase. This was not an issue in anyway, just odd. Second, I would have been more comfortable with the fire pit on the property if it had some sort of rock wall barrier or surrounded by sand. As it was, it was just a small dirt circle with firewood in the middle. All in all, a great property. Loved sipping morning coffee on the deck, and the scenery. Will absolutely book again.
