Perfect location, very inviting and secluded but safe.
5/5 Had an amazing experience with this property. It had everything you are used to at home for comfort. All new appliances, including a washer and dryer. The ice maker doesn’t work so if you should need it, grab a bag to throw in the freezer. Very comfortable beds and seating in the home. The AC/heat unit remote is on the wall by the back bedroom. It took us a while to locate it so I thought I’d share where it’s located. Lots of seating on the porch outside with a gas grill as well as a gas fire top table. We made marshmallows and hung out watching the stars most night. You are secluded, you can’t see your neighbors but they are close enough to not feel “alone in the woods”. Very quick drive to Kroger for groceries. Down town Franklin is only about 5 miles and is absolutely beautiful. You are also within 20 miles of beautiful waterfalls, river access and scenic overlooks. Not to mention all the gem mining and hiking trails you could ever want. This house truly is in a great location. Communication with Lin, the property manager, was absolutely amazing. If you do bring your dog with you, be sure to keep them on a leash or a long lead because at the end of the property there is a drop off. This was not an issue, just trying to relay helpful information. Other helpful info is that the water pressure in the shower is kinda low, I experience this with every cabin I’ve ever stayed with in the mountains. But if you have thick or curly hair be aware it takes a bit longer to rinse it out. Overall the property is absolutely beautiful, you have everything you need to cook and prepare your meals. Wash your clothes and clean up after a long day of being out. I will stay here again in the future.
