Perfect Getaway from the City
5/5 This was such a lovely getaway from the city. From the impeccably furnished home to the great (and beautiful) location, this trip was an incredible opportunity for our family to slow down, disconnect and spend quality time together. The cabin was tastefully furnished, just as the pictures show, and the beds/linens were super comfortable. We enjoyed evenings by the fire, and our kids loved the chance to just get out and play/get dirty. Possibly our favorite part was visits from Sadie and Lincoln — these pups were so sweet! We will definitely be staying again!

Relaxing Mountain Getawat
5/5 My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay is this exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated property. Enjoyed relaxing mornings and evenings on the deck. It was nice to come back to a cozy fire after visiting natural wonders nearby. Easy access to Highlands, NC via a scenic byway.

Destress at this private & quiet home away from home
5/5 We enjoyed the privacy this well decorated and comfortable home. The porch with a view was a pleasant respite from our daily jaunts to waterfalls and tourist towns. The beds were very comfortable. If you plan to cook, you may want to bring a couple of your own nice pans. Very very comfy accommodations and pleasant owners!

Mother/ Daughter Getaway
5/5 The property was exactly as advertised. The Mountain View was breathtaking! The huge covered porch brought the indoors out and outdoors in. We spent a lot of time out there enjoying the view, nature, clean air, and occasional visits from the two sweetest dogs ever! But the porch has gates to keep the dogs out if you don’t want them on the porch. We enjoyed the rocking chairs and dining on the porch. Brenda and Sara were gracious hosts and both lived within a stone’s throw away if you need anything. The king bed in the master is very comfortable! The nice leather couch in the living room is great for cozying down to read or watch a movie. Check in and check out were as easy as pie! We felt safe and secure. The cute mountain town of Franklin is only 5 minutes away. We only stayed 2 nights and will definitely be back for a longer stay!
