Overall great!Pros:Convenient. Home is located off main highway and easy to get to. Close to Franklin, Wayah Bald and over the mountain to Bryson. Kitchen is well stocked. Slow cooker, several types of coffee pots, ice cream maker, toaster, etc Master bed is very comfy (short people may need a step stool to get on it as it is tall!)The four split mini units is awesome to keep individual sleepers comfortable when you have hot and cold sleepers. Home was very clean with no stale odors Plenty of towels, washcloths, extra sheets, etcThere are fold up wooden TV trays you can use in the second bedroom for side table or to sit your bag or suitcase onVery nice view!Cons:The two bunk beds in the second room, though the mattress was comfortable, is too low to make it comfortable for adults as my mom and daughter hit their head every time getting out. A better option would be a set of single bunks and one full bed in the room. The tub/shower in main bathroom is extremely slick. Make sure to use the rubber mat otherwise you may fall! There is no power strip in master bedroom to plug watch/phone etc in. The outlet is behind the bed which can’t be accessed unless you move the mattress off (which we did) as we brought our own power strip. A permanent one for guests would be nice. The master bathroom does not have an exhaust fan and window does not work to open when you shower. Lawn maintenance showed up while we were there unexpectedly and we had blinds to bedrooms and bathroom open and suddenly men were at the window weed eating. Driveway. Though I don’t mind steep/incline driveway, there is one way in and one way out of the road to the driveway and house driveway is at an angle so when coming into it you have to drive straight up it. If you need to back into driveway to unload , you have to go past the house, do a bunch of little turns so as not to get in any neighbors drive and go past house in opposite direction to back up the driveway. Once parked in driveway you either back out and go down past house and make the little turns to turn around to exit the road or you can try and turn around in driveway which is very hard to do in large vehicle. There is a slight cutout in driveway to do this but it takes some maneuvering. There is a small tree on mountain side that prevents long vehicles from doing this easily. If that tree was removed and just a little more dig out into mountainside done it would help tremendously!

A friend and I rented the cabin to do some gem mining and exploring around Franklin. The cabin is in a gorgeous setting and the cabin itself is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was perfect for our stay. Would book this property again if I am in the area.
