Sawyers Family Vacation
5/5 The home was clean, quiet, and peaceful. Location was great - not too far from Asheville and area attractions. I loved that it was stocked with games and had a fire pit. The host was very accommodating and even came back out to fix the TVs that had lost service from storms earlier in the week. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to reconnect with family.

True mountain retreat.
4/5 We enjoyed our stay very much. We had everything we needed. I brought my dogs and they liked seeing the donkey, goats and cattle. The beds were comfortable. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the morning with our coffee. Only let down was having to carry our luggage and cooler up the slight hill. If you decide to stay drive up to the backdoor and back to unload. Other than that we had a great time. It is really in the mountains and rather curvy getting here, so be careful. Groceries about 4 miles away. I would come back again. We came in in October so the leaves had not turned yet. Only one bathroom, but that was ok with me. Good place for small family or two couples. Thank you for a great time.

Green pastures surrounded by mountains
5/5 We enjoyed our weekend at the Farm House Cottage. Everything was exactly as represented in the listing. There was plenty of storage room for personal items and food items--lots of empty drawers and closets. The bedding, sheets and pillow cases were extremely soft. There were plenty of clean towels of all sizes. Place was very clean overall. TV, wifi, appliances and AC were very easy to use. This is quaint little place in a rural, quiet setting, surrounded by pastures. We enjoyed seeing cows, turkeys, other dogs, and tons of hummingbirds. The scenery on the winding roads up and down the mountain was beautiful. It's a perfect retreat.
