Our first night was terrible. The tub was filthy, it had a collection of scum around the drain and a ring around the tub. The sink had toothpaste residue left in it and the pillows on the bed in the master bedroom were covered with hair. We texted our host to let them know, along with pictures. They were on a cruise and had issues receiving the pictures. They provided flat responses, stated that we had to send the pictures that night. My friend also texted the pictures and sent the images to their email. Which they confirmed receiving. It really surprised me how non-existent the customer service was. We were there for four days and we didn't hear from our host again after that first night. No recommendations to make things better or even a simple apology for finding any part of the space in an unclean manner. After that, it got better and we were able to enjoy the space. Cons: 10-20 mins to get to condo from gatehouse, it's a long, slow and treacherous drive up to the condo. If you're not used to driving narrow, partially, if not at all lit sharp turn mountain passes, then please consider this in your decision. As listed, it has exterior stairs to get to the entrance. It is a very step staircase (13 steps) and in mid-March, when we arrived they were covered in 2-3 inches of snow. As we arrived at night, it was terrifying descending them. The next day they were covered in ice. The railing is high and thick so not very suitable for holding onto properly. We had to hold onto the slats between the railing and the stairs to have a good grip to keep us up. The fireplace did not work. We asked our host, who told us it's one of the numerous switches on the wall. That was all the instructions we received. The Wi-fi Password never worked, despite the host telling us it was correct. Pros: Gorgeous views, Cozy space (once cleaned), Beds were luxurious, Cookware was very nice, Friendly and helpful people, not just at the gatehouse but in town too. Even though our first night was a hot mess. The overall experience I had was lovely. The condo is stunning and worth it. The host though, was less than spectacular and provided little customer service. I feel a bit miffed that I paid for a fully cleaned space and a cleaning fee, for someone else to (hopefully) have a clean space, when I didn't receive one.

Hi Virginia, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- We will address your concerns regarding the cleanliness of the home with the cleaning company so this issue does not affect future guests.
- We have high standards of hospitality and apologize if you experienced anything other than this in your communication during your stay. We asked for photos of the issues you were experiencing so that they could be passed onto the cleaning team.
- As our home is located in the mountains, guests should expect a certain degree of windy roads and mountainous weather though we're sorry to hear that you felt unsafe at some points.
- The fireplace is in working order and can be turned on via a switch on the wall.
- The wifi password was correct but we later found out that there were internet issues in the area during your stay. We apologize for this inconvenience!
We work hard for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
We spent the week of Thanksgiving at this property. Property manager responded with questions immediately. It is about a 7 minute drive from the entrance gate to reach the property destination. The scenic views from the condo were amazing. King size bed in the master is a plus. We were unable enjoy the jacuzzi tub because there hot water would run out before the tub was filled. We would love to come back in the summer!
