Great Stay!
5/5 Stay was absolutely memorable. We had some struggle going up the cabin but nonetheless the place, the scenery was beautiful. Future guests, I would recommend (during winter) to drive a AWD with snow chains. AWD vehicle just won't make the cut specially if it snowed or snowing.Again overall, very unforgettable stay. We enjoyed every single day! Thank you for a great stay!

Quiet Mountain Getaway

heater and fireplace
1/5 1. When we arrived the temperature outside was the same as inside the house, - 29 F. They should turn on the heater before the guest have arrived, it took the whole night to worm up the house.2. The fireplace fan does not work, the smoke spread to the house. Not a nice place to stay during the winter.3. Two days before the trip, after calling them we found out that we needed a four W D car to go up the hill that give access to the house, they should describe very clear that we need a four W D car.

Owners response: "Silvia, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip.
- We're sorry this was an oversight on our part, we have a mini-split heat pump that is left on at all times and each room has an electric heater with a thermostat. The temps before you arrived were in the 60s so the smaller heaters were not left on, but the electric heaters work well so would not have taken long to warm the house if you had turned them on
- The fireplace is for the ambiance it does not have a fan or a blower
- We're sorry if you didn't see the requirement of an AWD/4x4 in the listing we are sure it's in it 3 times and I also send all of our guests a pre-check-in text with this information
- We are available for all and any questions you may have had but we didn't hear from you regarding any of the issues, I'm sorry that your stay was not what you expected

5/5 Mi familia y yo pasamos unos días muy relajantes en esta cabaña, la cual en general está muy buena y a la cual muy probablemente regresemos pues la experiencia fue única. Tiene todo lo que se pudiese necesitar y está muy limpia y arreglada.El único detalle y voy a decir que fue muy probablemente falta de comunicación es que para llegar es imperativo un 4x4, de lo contrario será virtualmente imposible (pregunté si con mi RAV4 sería suficiente y l respuesta fue que no debería haber problema) pero salvando eso esta propiedad tiene (5) estrellas bien ganadas
