This cabin was wonderful. The beds were so comfortable and the hot tub was so relaxing. I would stay here again. This was such a nice getaway just to get away from everything.
This was the Perfect little cabin in the woods for an adult getaway spot for my birthday!

My husband and I brought our best friend to stay here for her 30th birthday.... along with our 2 year old. The cabin was prefect! Check-in was a breeze. Very clean. Comfortable furniture and beds. Very well equipped with everything you'll need. The hottub was the perfect ending to the evenings. GPS took us in the back way and wasn't bringing up the address. But if you Google Cherokee Windwalker Cabin, that takes you right to the cabin's front entrance. Very steep hill. The back entrance is on a crazy mountain driveway. The cabin is very close to Harrahs Casino that we took our best friend to as her birthday surprise. Drove just a little over an hour through the beautiful mountains to spend the day at Ripley's Aquarium and did other cool things in Gatlinburg with the toddler. Also, road the Great Smoky Mountain Train. Plenty to do for the entire family! Very private yet close to everything! Would definitely stay here again. Only thing we noticed was the water was either really hot or cold. Also, the house would get chilly without the fireplace on. Had to leave the bedroom doors open to keep them warm on really chilly nights. They would get hot but the fans worked great to help with that!

The cabin overall has nice potential. However, we had some issues. PROS: Good location. Beds were comfortable with the toppers on. Gas fireplace (Could only be on 30 mins since it overheated the TV above it)CONS: The HVAC system was broken, and the heater was not working. Parts were not going to be there until after we left. This happened prior to arrival, and we were never notified. With temperatures in the 20's, we would have looked to change cabins if we would have known. The property manager put in some space heaters. But they were woefully inadequate. We had no hot water for showers. Discovered this on the second day and turned out the breaker was never switched back on. The driveway needs grading. It is very steep with potholes that need to be addressed. We were aware it was steep. Just did not expect it would not be graded smoother. The cookware skillets are in bad shape. Everything sticks and there were limited sizes. The TV reception was horrible. Most of the stations were inaccessible due to lost Direct TV signals.

Hi Terry, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following:
- Our HVAC maintenance team assured us that the heating would work while the parts were being delivered. However, when we realized that this was not the case just ahead of your check-in, we brought over multiple space heaters to the home. We wish you would have let us know that they were not sufficient as we would have been happy to bring additional items over to help warm the place up.
- The water heater is typically not turned off and we're sorry for this inconvenience. Our records show that you had hot water within 30 minutes of notifying us of this concern.
- The driveway has since been re-graded.
- There was a record winter storm during your trip that may have caused poor TV reception. We apologize for this inconvenience, but it has not been an issue since.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
