  This property is perfect for a relaxing, quiet and homelike environment. This cabin is secluded, hot tub was enjoyable and private, fully stocked kitchen and very clean. Communication with the staff was great.

  We had a blast! It was a weekend trip for my husband, his mom, my mom, my son and I. We enjoyed our stay at the cabin, our only regret is the weekend didn’t last long enough. The cabin was clean, and fully stocked, it had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a walk to the Mingo falls and a very exciting train ride. The cabin was private and easy to get to.

  Zachary’s Retreat is a beautiful cabin located in a quiet area with wonderful views. The cabin was nicely stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the screened porch for morning coffee while listening to the leaves fall. The renting process was easy from check in to check out. We would definitely rent again!

  The cabin itself is amazingly beautiful. However the issues are not ignorable. The cleanliness of the place is terrible. Upon arrival we walked into a dusty cabin full of dog hair (black) the floors wasn’t swept or mopped. Urine on commodes , the bathroom shower doors had a thick film on them. Nothing had a recent wiping. Lamp shades were FULL of dust and dog hair. The jacuzzi filter had a white film of whatever. Couldn’t use due to it not being cleaned. We practically had to wipe everything before unloading. (Didn’t mention when called home owners - my wife is a LLC cleaner)

  The water system is nothing I’ve ever encountered before, we’ve had just enough water to wash(there’s a 400 gal reserve that never filled). Spoke to home owners who were very polite. Would recommend a deep well pump.

  Our cleaning team has been servicing the property for years with positive feedback. If the cabin was as you described we could have immediately resolved the issue if you had contacted us up front.
  
  The water system was unable to keep up with your group as you brought 3 guests more than the limit without permission.
  
  You called us halfway through your stay and made no indication that anything was wrong with your stay.
  
  You left our cabin in a dismal state upon departure, with trash and food scattered throughout and multiple items broken that affected subsequent bookings.
  
  While it won’t be our cabin, we hope you have better communication with future hosts to prevent the discontent that made you provide us with such an unexpectedly negative review."
