5/5 We are so happy we chose this home for our daughter's birthday weekend. The home was lovely. We arrived to the sweetest gesture from the homeowners. They had taken the time to acknowledge our little girl's birthday by leaving sweet treats, balloons, and even a flower for her. She was so surprised, and it was the perfect start to our weekend. The home was exactly as described and even better than we hoped for. The house had everything we needed for a party of 4 adults and 2 children. The home was clean and decorated adorably. The beds were comfortable, and the linens were fantastic. The property surrounding the home is gorgeous. I spent my last morning swinging on the wrap-around front porch, sipping coffee, and listening to the babbling brook that runs alongside the home. In my opinion, it is exactly what a mountain getaway should be. We stay at a lot of rental properties, and we would definitely stay at this place again. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Best vacation house! Beautiful property!
5/5 We loved our stay here. This home is perfect for staying in and feeling cozy with the added convenience if being a short 5 minute drive into Black Mountain or 20 minutes to Asheville if you want to explore. The farmhouse and property has history in the region. Well maintained and upgraded. You will be glad you chose this property!
Adorable house close to Asheville
5/5 We had a lovely time at Happy Hollow. We enjoyed walking around the property and exploring. The house feels far away but is actually very close to Black Mountain and Asheville. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are comfortable. It feels very home away from home and that was so lovely. We really enjoyed our time and we will be back.

5/5 What a beautiful home nestled in the mountain side. You can tell the owners have put a lot of thought in the restoration, they have all the modern conveniences, old mixed with the new. Beautifully decorated and well equipped. The history of the property and family is awesome. The property has its own hiking trail, babbling brook, fishing pond, fire pit, gas grill and wrap around porch. Lots of wildlife. I could be perfectly content right there, but it is so close to many hiking trails, lakes and The Biltmore, all just minutes away. I want to come back when I can stay longer to explore the surrounding area. This was a great getaway.
