  House is very clean and comfortable. It’s easy to access but tucked away in the woods and quiet. Very quick drive to Ingles for groceries as well as into downtown Black Mountain for drinks and dining. Excellent communication with owners / property managers. Wonderful experience.

• Clean and Spacious with Great Mountain Views

  We booked this cabin for Easter weekend for my family of 6 plus my parents. We had plenty of space for the 8 of us. We really appreciated that there were 2 king bedrooms and a kids room. The weather was very wet and cold and it was nice to have the basement game room for the kids to play in. Once the weather cleared the views were great, I would have loved to have been able to use the firepit if they weather had cooperated.

  The cabin was very clean upon arrival and there as ample bedding and towels provided for all 8 of us. Great communication from the property management company as well. My one piece of feedback is that I do wish there were more dishes. For the 8 of us we did have to run the dishwasher after every meal, this could be fixed by using paper plates, but as a rule we try not to use disposable products.

  Location is convenient to a grocery store and just a quick 25 min drive to Ashville and the the Biltmore House.

  I am definitely saving this one to my favorites and we will stay here again.

• Spring Break Escape

  The Saddle Lodge offers a beautiful view, a great location, and provides everything you need for your stay away from home. There are several activities you can enjoy within an hours drive of the lodge, and the town of Black Mountain offers unique shopping experiences and delicious food.

  We found the kitchen to be well stocked with gadgets and spices, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quantity of hot water and water pressure. No one had to take a cold shower! As a family, we loved our time together playing games, ping pong, and sitting by the bonfire. The mountain view is spectacular from sunrise to sunset and can be enjoyed with a cup of coffee or a quiet meal on the back deck.

  Our hosts were welcoming and quick to respond to any questions we had. They also offered recommendations of things to do in the area. The Lodge was very clean and well taken care of. We highly recommend a stay at Saddle Lodge!
