  This was a magical stay in a cabin on the mountain. A beautiful and serene setting, and we even got to experience snow for the first time (we are from Florida). It was comfortable and cozy, and the stay was perfect. Thank you!

  Truly a lovely stay with attentive host. Well stocked home and kitchen with multiple living spaces. The porch was a daily highlight to start and end the day on.

  PERK - Recreational Center walking distance from cabin!!! They have a very affordable weekly rate for all indoor areas - playroom, fitness room, indoor basketball and more but most can be enjoyed without facility fee. We personally utilized a great play area, tennis courts and hiking trails daily! They also offer canoe and fishing pole rentals. (NOTE: Kayaks at cabin cannot be used at reservoir seen in pictures as we learned, did not impact since they offer approved rentals through fitness center)

  Two things I would offer as feedback to consider. 1. Keypad entry that has code set by host and could not be changed ( No Manual key override). Our code provided was OBVIOUS for anyone to guess and when I reached out with safety concern was assured it’s changed after every visit - given the code I was provided I find this hard to believe and definitely left me feeling less than safe knowing I could not lock us into the home further than the keypad. 2. Master is on the upstairs loft, if you’re traveling with littles as I was this created a challenge having the twin beds on the main floor near front door and the master on a separate floor. All in all did not impact my rating but definitely two areas I would personally benefit from if improved :)

  We just returned from 3 nights here. Beds were very comfortable and towel were fresh and clean. Driveway was very steep and I am not sure they mention it or not in the description but you should definitely have 4 wheel drive if you are coming during icy, colder months. The backyard was a cute spot for the kids to have snowball fights and play in snow. All TVs were smart TVs so we could watch our favorite shoes at night. It was about an 10 min ride to Beech Mtn and I really liked that at the end of the day we returned and all our wet gear was organized and able to be hung in mud room.I would say the reason for not 5stars are the bed linens felt old and need to be redressed. On master the sheets are all pilled and nubby at the bottom and it felt gross. I am not sure they wash the duvet cover as well because it did not have a fresh smell like some of the other linens. The living room furniture is really uncomfortable and no room to really relax and stretch out after a day on slopes. I think it needs a deep clean in the kitchen cabinets and whatnot as well.
