Everything we had hoped for! The house is pristine...spotlessly clean & beautifully designed with spacious rooms, including a full kitchen with all you need for family meals. Beautiful, relaxing decor throughout the house. The bedrooms are large with very comfortable beds and lovely linens. Front & side porches with rocking chairs make for a lovely morning setting for coffee.
The location is ideal; comfortable walk to Front Street with its gorgeous waterfront restaurants & breathtaking views. We stayed six days, during which we enjoyed the Black Sheep/ Green Room and Queen's Anne Revenge and sampled the "Best Cheeseburger in Beaufort" at the Royal James Cafe (a true local) & excellent take-out pizza from No Name Pizza. We took the passenger ferry from Harkers Island to Cape Lookout ...a must for all visitors & such a treat to see the horses on Shackleford Island.
The neighborhood amenities are great, though, in the end, we only had time to enjoy a few, but fabulous options included to keep kids busy and entertained—Also, the play console & games area upstairs would be perfect for older kids, especially if the weather could be better. Appreciated the bikes provided to enjoy the quiet & friendly community.
This home is a gem of a find & we look forward to many return visits.

We especially enjoyed playing pickle ball with friends and family.
What a great stay!! Can’t say enough about how beautiful this home is. Very comfortable and perfectly decorated, with large rooms, and all the amenities. With a family of 3, we could literally get lost in this spacious home. The community has many things to offer, from kayaking, biking, dog parks, and our favorite….pickle ball courts, with all in just a short walk away. Also…love how close the waterfront is, where all of our favorite restaurants are, and the views while dinning are priceless. You’ll make excellent memories here, and we will definitely be back soon!! Thank you Nease Family for a fantastic vacation.
