Clear the calendar for a relaxing retreat at this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental house in Beaufort. Built in 1958, this home maintains that same easy-going atmosphere from way-back-when; made complete with a warm interior, a cozy sunroom and a shaded porch. Take a dip in the water, cruise across the Newport River, or meet the scallywags of the Beaufort Pirate Invasion. No matter how you choose to spend your time, prepare to be the captain of this great getaway!
This historic city of Beaufort is brimming with things to see and do, all just 10 minutes from the property. Front Street offers an array of restaurants, boutique shops, and historic home tours, plus bike rentals so you can visit it all with ease! Be sure to check the calendar before you go; arts and crafts shows are often found lining the streets throughout the year.
If you've come to Beaufort for the pirates, yer in luck! The hub for the annual Pirate Invasion is just 3 miles away, making it easy to take part in events like the Yo Ho Ho & a Bottle o' RUN and the Parley on the Waterfront.
Beaufort makes it easy to spend the day on the water. Rent a kayak, boat, or paddleboard to cruise across the beautiful Newport River area. Venture further down to Taylor Creek for a front-row spot to see the outer bank ponies on Carrot Island.
Be sure to visit some of the famed local favorites in the area. Stop by the Beaufort Airport, the original base where Michael Smith, the pilot of the Challenger, learned to fly, or take a day-trip to Cape Lookout for oceanfront views sure to impress.
This home is an excellent home base in a quiet neighborhood and a great place to relax after a day of exploring the area! We couldn't ask for nicer weather to enjoy the town of Beaufort, Fort Macon State Park, the aquarium, and Cape Lookout National seashore. We were fortunate to see the wild horses on Rachel Carson Reserve. Easy check in and check out and the Manager was great and is local.
Had an awesome time. Great area to enjoy everything. Great fishing.

Beautiful home with a wonderful view of the water. We absolutely enjoyed our stay & we hope to be able to stay there again. The only negative comment that we can give is the sulphur smell of the water. For bathing & dishes it presented no problems. Since, however, we had read about the water's sulphur smell in a previous renter's comments, we took bottled drinking water with us.Again, it is a beautiful, clean, well-maintained care of home with a gorgeous view.

We loved it here! The house is adorable, comfortable and has an awesome yard and view. The home owners have taken such great care to keep the home in its 50's vibe while also providing modern conveniences.

Lovely vintage property. The owners are even lovelier. We loved having a quiet getaway to swim and enjoy our family time. Exploring Beautiful Beaufort each morning and lazy afternoons swimming off the dock. It was perfect!
