We really appreciated the landlord staying up as we arrived late due to a weather event. We arrived at 1:00 and she met us.

We were very disappointed and not happy with what we saw. We come from Florida (far far away). This is our vacation and we rented this so called cabin based on the pictures we saw. The cabin looks more like a house than an actual cabin. The pictures on the internet and the house we rented were not alike at all. The beautiful vibrant colors posted that catch your eye immediately, while in person the colors are dull and sad. The exterior fence and pathway are falling apart. The interior of the house was also a big disappointment. The minute you enter, you get that old house smell that was not pleasant. The furniture Is outdated. The flooring has scratches and old dirty carpeting throughout the place. There’s even holes and scratches in some parts of the wall. The one bathroom the house has is very small and the toilet seat is the smallest and most uncomfortable toilet seat I’ve ever sat on. The beds are also way too small, they include one twin bed that my 17 year old son’s legs stick out when he lays down, and a queen bed that looks more like a full size that me and my husband do not fit at all whatsoever in. Like I said earlier very disappointed

Hi Mary, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following:
- Evolve takes the accuracy of our listings seriously and only uses professional photographers so we can be sure that our images accurately reflect each property. Additionally, all the furniture and decor are exactly as advertised.
- Your stay occurred right after an extreme winter storm with sub-zero temperatures and unprecedented snowfall. The owner works hard to keep the property well maintained, but the exterior and garden may not have been as vibrant and full due to the time of year and storm.
- The cabin was thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before your arrival, and the owner did not detect any odor.
- The beds are standard queen-size and twin-size. The size of the toilet is exactly as pictured in the listing photos.
As is evidenced by the many great reviews, the owner goes above and beyond for their guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
Super quiet, right by the highway. Marcia was a wonderful host. We loved the filtered water in the kitchen and the abundant nature everywhere. Despite being a bit rustic (which we loved), the home was super clean and had everything we needed. It was the perfect central location for a Montana based fishing trip. Would definitely stay here again!

This lovely little cabin has it all: beautiful views, a cozy interior, and excellent outdoor spaces. The location was great—less than ten minutes from downtown Bozeman—but you'd never guess based on how quiet and remote the surrounding area is. Ms. McCool was a kind and accommodating host. She lives up to the name! Anyhow, we were sad to leave but hope to be back some day. Thanks again!

We recently had a wonderful five-night stay in Marsha's guest cottage. Just a easy ten-minute drive to the east of Bozeman, it was close enough to nip into town whenever we wanted, while still boasting the big sky views and seclusion that we craved. The house was unassumingly comfortable, well-stocked, and impeccably clean, and I wouldn't hesitate a second to stay there again!
