• The worst experience I’ve ever had with a home rental.

  The property is in a good location and is nice for the most part. That is the where the good stops. In our experience, the owner is horrible to deal with. When we arrived to the property, we found the floors to be dirty, the bathtub to be dirty and water stained pillows from the humidity. When the owner was confronted, he was combative, argumentative and rude to say the least to me and my wife. He told us to just clean the place and to move the stained pillows off the bed. We also accidentally locked ourselves out of the house and tried for over 4 hours to reach the owner. Evolve, which is the managing company of the home, also tried reaching out to him numerous times in that period. Once speaking with the owner, he was again, rude over the situation and finally told us where the spare key was hidden. The property is also listed to have a washer and dryer, which it does, but the key to unlock the area where the washer and dryer are is on the hidden key ring to the property in which no information was given as to where the keys where. The owner asked what he could do to make the situation right after a battle of words with him, when we presented an option, he never responded even though he said he would by the next day. Overall, even with the issues we had, if he had not been an absolute jerk about the situation it would’ve been fine. With that said, the issues we had and his rudeness about it, I would never recommend this property to someone to stay in because if you have an issue, you are on your own and s.o.l.

• Excellent Beach Cottage!

  My wife and I stayed here and really enjoyed it. This property is 5 minutes from the beach and downtown Waveland, less than 10 minutes from downtown Bay restaurants and shops. The cottage is on a quiet street with plenty of privacy. Bob, the owner is friendly and helpful and he checked on us a couple of times during our stay which we really appreciate. The cottage is well-equipped with plenty of linens, cookware, high-speed Wi-Fi, Amazon Alexa, Bluetooth speaker, grill, fire pit and lots of open, grassy space for the kids to run, walk the dogs and plenty of shade to just relax. There’s a fantastic patio upstairs that is perfect for morning coffee(according to my wife) and we also enjoyed wine there in the evenings. We highly recommend this cottage and have suggested our clients rent this space during Cruisin’ the Coast in October.
