Extra Days Trip to Get College Son
4/5 Chose home option for extra days trip to get/bring college student home for summer. Wanted extra space & kitchen to cook meals. Comfortable stay in a decent neighborhood close to many things. We shopped, did some tourism, & found/used YMCA. Kitchen enough for cooking but could stand better knives so not hack sawing veggies. Would have loved an outdoor grill (I’ve had at other VRBOs). Listing says can park in garage but that’s not correct. Mattress more comfortable than could hope for. Always thankful for laundry in rental. House has old charm/character. Decorated with aesthetically pleasing colors.Overall, I would stay again & recommend.

Comfortable with opportunity to improve
4/5 Overall recommend. Comfortable old/quaint home. Pleasant paint scheme. Nice neighborhood with good access to what wanted in the area. Bright with natural lighting from many windows. Always good to have kitchen & laundry.
Opportunities to improve:
1. Fix door from bathroom into 2nd bedroom so stays latched.
2. More/better kitchen tools/supplies-working garbage disposal, sharp knives, plastic fridge storage containers, more dishwasher detergent
3. King bed in master bedroom
4. Outdoor grill
5. Kleenex/tissues
Listing said could park in garage, but that wasn’t true. We were packing up & moving home college student belongings so had security of items in vehicle in mind when saw garage included in listing.
Perfect House
5/5 A lovely home that has been remodeled but maintains much of its original charm. Convenient and centrally located. A beautiful yard in an ultra-quiet neighborhood. The sunroom is a nice addition to hide away and read or sip on your favorite beverage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Great Getaway
5/5 This house is conveniently located near the aquarium and downtown Springfield (with multiple breweries and great restaurants). The house looked exactly like the pictures and was super cute with lots of old house charm. There are several parks and schools within the neighborhood which is an eclectic mix of houses. We didn’t have any issues during our stay and enjoyed being able to come “home” at the end of the day. Would stay again.

Bright and comfortable
5/5 We were in town to spend time with our parents, they enjoyed the sunroom and the kitchen worked well for cooking Easter dinner for them.
