Better than expected! Perfect for families with kids!
5/5 This place was absolutely perfect! It sits way back in a quiet cove, which is perfect for kids. They can swim without mom fearing they’ll be swept out into the middle of the lake! It was fairly shallow there too, again, great for kids. This isn’t in one of the commercial parts of the lake, which suited us. Nice and peaceful. Just lots of bird and frog sounds! The boat slips were just right for our pontoon boat and to store floats in overnight. The fishing was pretty good, we caught a lot more than we’ve caught before! The kids LOVED the included Lilly pad float, and the kayaks. The house was beautiful! Excellent amenities, like the coffee bar, included shower toiletries, campfire, grill, and lake supplies.This was easily the most well supplied and one of the nicest vacation rentals we’ve stayed in! The kitchen is small, but Well stocked with basics and plenty of cookware. We truly had an amazing week here! I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet piece of lake to play on, surrounded by nature! The only problem we had was putting the boat in the water, we didn’t have cash so had to try a few different ramps. So if you’re bringing a boat, bring cash or plan to use Coffman beach boat ramp. It’s a bit of a drive to the house from there, but was pretty easy to manage once we found it.
