• Good - NOT Great!

  Overall we had a great time, so I’ll say, the pros outweighed the cons. I’ll start with the cons. Most of the issues seem to be reoccurring as I’ve went back and read them in prior reviews, so that should be addressed by Evolve. Late check in / cleaning team was running 45 min late. However, they did a wonderful job, so we were very thankful for the quality work. We had a 6:30 dinner res, so no harm done.The clubhouse (indoor pool, sauna & hot tub area) was out of service due to frozen pipes/water damage. We understood that this was out of managements control but frustrated that no warning was sent out by Evolve. The attempt to make it right was a 9% credit only after we complained. Reoccurring issues from previous reviews and our stay - TV remotes ALL had dead batteries, (property manager brought some by 2nd day), the cable was very basic and needs upgraded, the Roku was locked down by pin which prevents guests from using their own streaming accounts. Cable modem didn’t work in the master bedroom. The master bath tub drains very slow. The wifi has poor bandwidth so everyone has to get off wifi in order to stream on a tv. Only one set of extra linens and they didn’t fit, so we just used the top sheet, and didn’t use the pull out couch bed feature. There were enough couch pillows to make the bed/couch in the living room work, extra bed style pillows for murph and pullout couch are needed.The beds in the bedrooms are not comfortable, and need upgraded. This may be a main reason for not rebooking to this unit.Pros- the unit was well stocked with the essentials. Toilet paper, paper towels, laundry, dishes, and soaps. Nice appliances, furniture in the living room, the dining area and kitchen were great. They were perfect for our family style stay. Our Rep (Kristen) at City on a Hill was wonderful. If not for her we would probably would have been a lot more frustrated. She was helpful and responsive. She followed up several times. It’s the little things that make a property great!! It was the little things that kept this unit from being great.

• noisy neighbors above the condo

  The only one thing. The ice maker and water didn’t work on the refrigerator. So when we tried to get water in ran into the refrigerator, that’s his we found out wasn’t working. We cleaned it up. Other then that a beautiful place.

• Decent

  I will start by saying that the condo was a decent place to stay for the week, not horrible, but not the greatest either. There were a few things that stuck out to us that we weren't too happy with:

  - One of our biggest complaints would be the unit upstairs. Now, I know this is nothing the booking company/owner can do anything about, but it is super loud. You can hear almost everything. I don't know if that unit is occupied by a full time tenant or if it is rented out, but our entire stay, you could hear them upstairs at all hours of the day and night. Our 4 year old compared it to elephants. Lol

  - ALL of the beds are pretty uncomfortable, we used all 4, and not one person liked them. Also, there were not enough sheet sets to cover both beds in the living room, so we had to just take one set and divide it between the 2 beds. There didn't seem to be any extra pillows anywhere for those beds either, however, both of the main rooms had at least 4 pillows each, so that part was okay.

  - If you have anybody sleeping in the living room on the pull out bed or Murphy bed, it is important to note that the 'curtains' for the sliding glass door in the living room do absolutely nothing. They are like woven bamboo type shades and the light shines completely through them. So, again, the guests in the living room did not get much sleep.

  - As stated in another review, the master bath does drain pretty slow. It's not really that bad unless you have people taking a shower one right after another (which we did)

  - There were absolutely no extra trash bags for the kitchen trash can, and they were low on dishwasher detergent, and I think we were only left a half roll of paper towels... but other than that, I felt like they had a decent amount of household items (if you are like us, you bring that stuff anyways, but technically they should provide an extra or 2 of household supplies)

  Some good points:

  - The kitchen was very spacious

  - Tons of drawer space and dressers in each room (no hangers for the closet though)

  - Lots of towels and wash cloths available (except only 1 dish towel)

  We were just so so about this condo. All of the cons did not ruin our trip, however, we will likely never stay here again. We were trying something new this time, as it was last minute, so we will most likely stick to our usual place in the future.
