  I highly recommend Central Commons for the perfect Mpls retreat. I wanted a secure, comfortable and CLEAN place to stay while visiting my son in NE Mpls. This absolutely fit my needs. The apt was white glove clean and very welcoming. Quiet! Close to everything you could want. Michelle was wonderful to work with. I had one minor glitch with the TV and Michelle was quick to respond. I met one of the tenants who helped me and what a gem of a person!! The apt is well stocked with all necessities and very secure. Cozy and inviting. I will absolutely stay here again! Thank you Michelle!

  Stayed here while visiting my son. The place was clean and quiet. The owner was on site and very helpful. We had no issues and would stay again.

• Somewhat misleading

  The rental process and communication was good. However, the picture of the property from the street was not the same building. I had planned for my 18 yr old son to sleep on the hide-a-bed. The mattress was 2 inches thick. Michelle brought us another 2 inch thick mattress which we put on top, but my son still could not sleep. Having him sleep with me in the queen bed was out of the question: I tossed and turned and have insomnia. In spite of being a basement apartment, two good ceiling fans, 2 box fans and a tiny window air conditioner, it did not get below 80 degrees at night. The kitchen was adequate, though we did not use it except the coffee maker. I loved the shower. Very unusual. There was lots of information and maps available. Michelle had suggestions of places to go.

She has let us know that the building pictured is, in fact, the same one you stayed in, but so many updates and improvements have been made that it looks different. We have a new photoshoot scheduled so future guests will have the most accurate idea of the property before arrival. We're also sorry to hear that your son did not enjoy the hide-a-bed mattress and we appreciate you allowing the homeowner to do everything in her power to make things more comfortable. That mattress has since been replaced with a high-quality memory foam mattress - thank you for that feedback. Lastly, we're sorry to hear that the temperature was uncomfortable while you were in residence! The homeowner would have been more than happy to help you out had she been made aware of the issue during your communication with her, but the issue has been identified and fully resolved.   If you want clean & quiet, look no further. This cute rental really hit it out of the park for us. The location is a perfect launching point for nearly anything and there are a number of good restaurants very close by. There?s also a grocery store not too far if that?s your thing. My wife and I are a bit, ahem, particular about cleanliness and were unsure using a rental service over a hotel. I would say that this place was by far cleaner and had overall better amenities in our opinion. We got to make Caribou in the morning over crappy hotel coffee! There?s free parking too! The owner was very accessible if you needed literally anything and had great local knowledge of things to check out and places to eat. I will definitely keep this as an option for future trips and would recommend it if it fits your needs.
