5/5 Perfect place to spend a few days with my adult children. We explored the area, ate great food and spent time each evening playing games and watching movies. This house was just what we needed to spend some time away in our busy lives to reconnect. Owner was quick to respond to questions!

4/5 Perfect place to explore the area. We enjoyed the downtown shopping, driving to sleeping bear and in the evenings playing games and watching movies. Host was quick to answer questions. Great time away.
Winter vacation in a small town

A clean old house one block from Manistee’s north channel, and “main” streets. Easy walk to beaches.
4/5 Re-furnished old two-story house. Clean. Cozy. Needed to use camping chairs to accommodate seating for 8 in living room (TV). we brought our own card table and chairs to add to the furnished high top table/chairs for the eating area for all eight of us. Beds adequate to comfy. Box fans in each bedroom, window air conditioners kept house cool. W/D used everyday - a plus. No useable yard - overgrown (hopefully the bushes are cut down soon. Also 8 feet from a storage building. But didn’t take away from experience) Nice deck, good gas grill, fire “pit”. Close to all activities including two nice beaches. Great for swimming, playing on the beach, beach fires and sunsets. Within an hour and a half to other attractions- Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor, Traverse City, canoeing, kayaking, tubing, hiking etc. Our old Golden Retriever was comfortable and loved the walks. A lot of activities for children-do some research before going. We were lucky enough to be present for a lake freighter coming through town on the North Channel. So close we could shout to crew on deck. Nice town, nice people.

Nice location
3/5 Was a nice little house, slightly outdated and unfinished. Sleeps 10 people, we had 8 and there was only 4 towels and 3 open rolls of toilet paper. There was not much seating, thankfully we brought lawn chairs with us and put them up in the living room.
