This house needed a deep cleaning and maintenance
2/5 The house was not clean AT ALL! We had to go out and buy hand soap and bar soap. The mattress was very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. The pipes knock and there was a howling noise that also prevented us from sleeping well. The backyard is a construction zone and the fence needs repairs. My dog wouldn't even do her business back there. There was also trash and broken glass in the front yard. The electronic door lock did not always work, so we didn't feel secure. The upstairs toilet was not secured to the floor and rocked. There were holes and cracks in some of the doors. There was garbage in the kitchen trash bin when we arrived and milk in the fridge that expired a month prior. I don't think the microwave had ever been cleaned. There was splatter all inside. There was water damage on the kitchen ceiling. The outside trash receptacle was full, so we could not remove trash from the house. After the mattress is replaced, it needs to have a mattress cover that can be cleaned, not a foam topper that absorbs all bodily fluids. The pillows also need waterproof covers underneath the pillow cases. I was so glad that I brought my own sheets, comforter, towels and disinfectant cleaner. The house did not have enough supplies and dishes for a family. This property should not be listed until it is thoroughly cleaned and repairs are made.
