The property is perfect for a family gathering. We had teens and younger kids for a family gathering - skiing, snow tubing, walking on the ice, games infront of the fireplace. With three bathrooms and lots of spaces, everyone could spread out and also connect to make some family memories. We couldn´t use the really nice slider doors because it´s winter - but imagine in the summer - with the breezes off the lake and grilling on the deck, would be pretty perfect. Thanks for letting us make some memories!

This is a nice house but it needs some deep cleaning. The house has dust and cobwebs in the living room. The fireplace isn’t usable because the smell of propane is strong when it’s on. They have broken lightbulbs and dirty carpet. The house has 3 different heating systems and the living room unit couldn’t keep the heat up. Too bad the fireplace couldn’t be used. With some attention this could be a nicer house. This VRBO isn’t what we usually experience.

This home is exactly what our family was looking for. We have stayed here several times now throughout the past few years.
Such a beautiful, quaint home with lots to do around Cadillac and surrounding areas.
During the long summer days, we enjoyed BBQing in front of the beautiful lake in between kayaking and swimming.
Winters are breathtaking and a short distance from Caberfae Peaks. We end the day by the cute fireplace and lots of hot cocoa and games!
Host has been extremely accommodating with every request. The home is kept clean and comfortable. Highly recommended for your next relaxing getaway! We will be back!
Loved the location. Great layout of the house. Could of been cleaner.

This property has three bedrooms. Upstairs, the bed was not bunked, much to the dismay of the 8 year old in our crew. If the bed had been bunked, we would have been able to fit an aero mattress in there as well. It's nice size room. Having the front room with the balcony seemed to work fine for her. It's the smallest room - but has the best view of the sunrise. The master downstairs is also spacious. The bathroom has a fancy tub and a fancy shower. It was popular! The best part is the yard. It is relatively flat from the deck to the shore. This is key for a Grandma with mobility issues. The firepit was another favorite. The swimming was great. It is very shallow for at least 50 yards out so be cautious bringing in a boat!We used the deck the most. The table seats 8 which was perfect for us!It was not the best stocked kitchen we've ever had. Everything else was so good that we just made do. The kitchen doesn't really have baking dishes. If you are planning casseroles, bring your own pans. Our egg bake became an egg scramble! There isn't a cheese grater or a knife sharpener. Silverware, plates, glasses, mugs, etc are plentiful however. We didn't use any of the tvs but the wifi was great for our phones.Parking is strict with only 4 cars allowed. We used a park to stage some cars when more family visited on Saturday. If you are putting in a boat, I highly recommend the landing at the state park. It is part of the day use park and very spacious.
