    There were a couple of plumbing issues that resulted in us not being able to use the toilet for one night. Also, we had a plethora of ants invade the front bedroom.

    - Thank you for choosing to stay in our Shreveport, Louisiana cottage and leaving a review, as guest feedback is vitally important to us and the success of our vacation rental business
    - We ensure all amenities are working before every guest's arrival. We sincerely apologize that you experienced issues with the toilet for 3-5 hours.
    - When notified of the toilet issue, we immediately offered to send out a plumber, but you kindly turned down our offer. We followed up with you the following morning and we decided to bring a plumber out to the property. Our plumber stated that everything was fine with the toilet.
    - We hope the resolution provided to you eased the inconvenience you experienced.
    - We have both ant traps and ant spray in our cottage to help mitigate the few springtime sugar ants that might make their way into our cottage.
    -As you know, there were unprecedented rain storms during your stay; consequently, bringing a few sugar ants into the cottage; however, we didn't see any after you had departed.
    While we do regret our home was not up to your expectations, we are happy to report that no issues were reported by the guests who stayed the following weekend and we will happily continue providing the 5-star guest experience that we are known for.

  • Felt like home

    The Cottage was just as advertised. So quaint and exceptionally clean! Grace was a wonderful host who made sure we were ok. As soon as we walked in it felt like home when we were kids. We truly appreciated the coffee, and snacks…our granddaughter really enjoyed a chocolate or two from the candy dish. If you need a place to stay in Shreveport I highly recommend this place!!
