  This house is beautiful and charming. It was the perfect spot for our party of 5. The house was very clean and in a friendly neighborhood. Kitchen was furnished with everything you need. The beds were clean as well. The only reason I took one star off is that as part of the check-out process, we were asked to remove bed sheets from beds, empty trash, when we are already being charged a cleaning fee. That is the purpose of the exhorbitant cleaning fee added on Airbnb. Owner should address this.

  This home had everything we could possibly think of and it was perfect for our family fun weekend getaway in New Orleans! We would definitely stay here again if/when we are back in the area! The house was VERY clean, completely stocked with everything we needed including complementary water and extra towels, and the homeowner was very attentive…even had the home ready early so we could check in as soon as we got into town! The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax when not out site seeing. The covered breezeway and backyard were perfect for my 2 year old grandson to run around and play. The neighborhood was quiet, we felt safe the entire time, and the area had lots of shopping and dining options nearby. I do have 2 suggestions for the homeowner, not really negative reviews, and these issues would not deter us from staying again by any means…I did not realize that the bathrooms only had functioning showers, not tubs, because the drains plugs would not work. This was not a big deal for the adults, but my 2 year old grandson takes baths. My husband and I went to the Dollar Tree up the road and found a sink plug that worked for the master bath and that issue was resolved. I would suggest the homeowner either notate that in the listing description or provide some type of plug for the tubs. The other suggestion involves the coffee pot in the kitchen… By looking at the pictures, I thought it was a Keurig type coffee maker and brought pods but it is a drip style and not an easy one to figure out how to operate. My husband and I eventually figured out how to use it, and the homeowner, who once again had everything you would need, had coffee and filters in the cabinet! I would suggest the homeowner either get a coffee pot that was easier to operate or leave some instructions on how to use this one just as a courtesy so others don’t have to struggle like we did. Once again, these things are minor and I hate to even mention them because everything else was so awesome, but I thought they may be helpful to the homeowner and/or future renters. If you are considering this house then don’t hesitate to rent it!! My family and I all agreed that it was worth every penny to have a house with the comforts of home vs being cooped up in a hotel room and we are so glad we chose this one!!
