The property appears to be furnished with Goodwill items. The owner put no effort and less money as possible. The heat wasn’t working during the time of my stay. I spend additional money. I had to move my family to a Homewood suites due to the poor conditions. I’m sure the owner was nice a cozy and enjoyed his/her holiday. I would not recommend this to anyone.

If you are familiar with New Orleans and comfortable with a sketchy neighborhood (we were fine with it) this property would suit your needs. Positive notes: Fair price, easy to find, no problem parking, centrally located. Could improve: Poor water pressure, floors made your socks/feet dirty, and the 4:15am wake up call from the neighborhood rooster was not listed in the amenities.

We enjoyed our time but we weren't not at the house much at all! The house had everything we needed. It was pretty clean but it was not as nice and as the VRBO listing made it seem. The backyard was not appealing at all and we weren't informed that we would be sharing the back yard/deck with another family. Thankfully the family next to us was very sweet. But we expected way more for the price we paid.

The home is in a "rougher" side of town. We'd never been to New Orleans before so we were unsure of what neighborhood to look at. Next time we will do a bit more research. We had a lot of activities planned so didn't spend a lot of time in the home, but the time we were there was mediocre. We had trouble getting into the home at check-in. Apparently, you have to pull the door while entering the code because the automatic lock gets stuck. The home was clean but outdated. Only 1 person can shower at a time because the hot water and pressure is not kind when both showers are running. We did enjoy sitting out back. This is a duplex so the backyard is shared, but we never saw the neighbors.
