The house is centrally located near everything you could want to do during your visit to New Orleans! Take a stroll along the Mississippi River, which is just 3 blocks from the house. You can also take a walk to Audubon Park, 1 mile down the road.
Take your whole family to explore the 58-acre Audubon Zoo on the other side of the park. The massive zoo features over 2,000 species of animals! For more animal adventures, drive to the Timken Wildlife Management Area just outside of the city.
You don’t have to be in town during Mardi Gras to enjoy the madness on Bourbon Street! Experience everything Bourbon Street and the French Quarter have to offer. The area is easily accessible via the St. Charles streetcar line, which is 2 blocks to the house.
For great shopping and dining options, walk down the street towards Tulane and Loyola University. The unique shops and restaurants in the area are sure to please everyone!

5/5 Clean! - this place was very clean - so clean that even the blinds were not dusty. We stayed for four nights with 6 people - 4 adults and two kids. Safe neighborhood and close to the street car.

Great people and history
5/5 Loved staying at James' place. He gave a great introduction to the neighborhood and New Orleans. It was fantastic meeting his sister and some of the other neighbors and learning about the neighborhood. Easy walk to the street car. Hope to return and stay here again!
