• Don't Go There!!!

  Boat host broken, water filtration to home broke, no furniture or closet in master bedroom to put your clothes in, planks on long walk to end of dock spaced far apart, no railing all the way, no ladder in case of falling into water and owner passed the buck on boat host being broken by saying she didn't advertise it but the pictures showed in available! We had to cook and bathe in brown water for 5night stay someone came to repair the filter on 3rd. Day but said it couldn't be fixed. My opinion is I'll never go back! Our friend did slip and fall into the water one night and being alone he nearly drowned trying to pull himself out from the water. He managed to climb in the boat then climb up to the dock without any stairs to help him! Color us very sad!

  Hi Joseph, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We strive to ensure that our guests have a positive experience with us and to provide high standards of hospitality.
  - The safety of our guests is our main priority. We're sorry to hear about the fall incident but guests can rest assure that there is a ladder available, but we don't keep it in the water in order to keep it free of barnacles and silt.
  - We aim for transparency and the listing is accurately advertised. The boat host is not stated on the listing as it is not available for guest use. The boat lift is not available for use as it was damaged by a previous guest who did not have permission to use it. The property is advertised with well water and details on tint are provided in the pre-stay email. We also provide a complimentary artesian spring dispenser for use.
  - The water filtration of the home has the capacity of approximately 400 gallons of filtered water and during your stay, it did not break. Once we were made aware of the concern, we immediately visited the home and we noticed that you had drained the entire system cleaning your boat. You did not allow the system to refill.
  - Guests are provided luggage racks that are located in each bedroom and additional closet space in other rooms to store clothes in.
  - The planks at the end of the dock are spaced far apart intentionally based on the recommendation from our contractor. In clarification to the railing, they are not recommended for piers that are used for crabbing/crab traps.
  - We wish you had reached out to the Guest Contact during your stay if there were any issues you needed to be addressed. We would have done everything we could to address them immediately.

  Greener Pastures was perfect for our 5 nights in the New Orleans area. The peaceful location of the home was wonderful with breathtaking views. The home is spacious and modern with numerous amenities. Couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Would definitely rent again on our next trip to the area.

• Lovely weekend stay

  This house was exactly what we were looking for. 2 couples Celebrating our 15th anniversaries. We caught 7 crab during our stay and a flounder which was so awesome. The hosts were very accommodating and great at communicating. Highly recommend this place and thanks for sharing your home with us!
